Homemade Avocado Buttermilk Conditioner

Homemade Avocado Buttermilk Conditioner
Keep your hair and skin well conditioned, moisturized, and strong with this homemade recipe.  This goop can be used either as a deep conditioner or a facial masque:

1 ripe or overripe avocado
1/3 cup Buttermilk
2 tablespoons Honey
2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Cold Pressed
2 tablespoons Coconut Oil
5 Vitamin E capsules
5-10 drops essential oil of your choice (optional- I don't use it, but I may start...I find the smell of Buttermilk offensive)
Dash Ground Cinnamon

If this is not the ideal consistency for you, keep adding ingredients until it is achieved.

Directions for hair conditioner:  Gently apply to hair in sections, from root to tip.  Gently apply to entire hair line, and add extra on tips.  Leave on for a minimum of 30 minutes.  May be left on overnight.  It may be necessary to pin hair up in a gentle hair claw, or place a plastic cap on head.  Once you are ready, rinse hair thoroughly.  Wash hair with a gentle shampoo and condition as normal.  Let air dry. Store any unused portion in the refrigerator.

Directions for skin masque:  Gently apply to clean skin (great for face, neck, chest, elbows, knees, underarms, bikini zone, legs...all your skin!).  Leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes.  20-30 minutes is great.  Make sure to apply a decent layer.  Rinse off when ready.  Cleansing is optional afterward, depending on your skin type.  Refrigerate any unused portion.

Enjoy!
